Compensation for this position varies based on factors such as skills, education, experience, job specific knowledge, and qualifications. Schedule
This position requires flexibility as determined by job schedules. The primary schedule is Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, but occasional weekend work may be required to hit job schedule deadlines.
Location
This is an onsite position located primarily at the project/job site and requires traveling to and from job sites, warehouses, vendor and supplier offices, subcontractor offices, and the Bespoke Homes Office and Showroom as needed.

Bespoke Homes is a fast-growing company that develops residential and commercial properties in Northwest Arkansas with an emphasis in development, construction, and sale of residential products.
The Construction Superintendent & Field Specialist, under the direct supervision of the Director of Construction, is responsible for planning and supervising residential construction projects from start to finish, utilizing a variety of company tools and software programs to supplement and ensure efficient project management. The Construction Superintendent & Field Specialist will organize and oversee construction procedures and ensure they are completed in a timely and efficient manner and will aid the strategic development of projects by providing critical support to the Land Development and Operations team as needed. The Construction Superintendent & Field Specialist will be responsible for entry to intermediary level project logistics, data management, subcontractor coordination, helping with warranty repairs, etc. and provide support to various departments as needed.
An excellent Construction Superintendent & Field Specialist must be well-versed in all construction methodologies and procedures and be able to coordinate a team of professionals of different disciplines to achieve the best results. The ideal Construction Superintendent will have an analytical mind and great organizational skills.
The goal is to ensure all projects are delivered on time according to requirements and without exceeding budget, utilizing a variety of company tools and software programs to supplement and ensure efficient project management.
Essential Duties and Job Responsibilities

Collaborate with engineers, architects, office staff, etc. to determine the specifications of the project

Coordinate with staff members to obtain permits and licenses from appropriate governmental authorities

Determine essential resources (manpower, equipment, and materials) required to complete the project from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations

Manage all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met

Acquire equipment and material as need to complete the project and routinely monitor inventory and stocks to timely handle inadequacies and discrepancies

Manage subcontractors, laborers, and other staff to appropriately allocate responsibilities

Oversee and supervise the work of subcontractors, laborers, etc. and provide guidance in duties and responsibilities as needed

Evaluate constructional improvement progress and prepare detailed reports to present to executive leadership

Properly utilize and update company software to reflect scheduling activities, variance purchase orders, etc.Assist with the completion of Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP) forms and AIA Pay Applications (G702 and G703)Install hardware when needed: interior and exterior doors, cabinet and bath hardware, mirrors, etc.Facilitate the completion of punch list items, i.e. adjust interior and exterior doors, adjust cabinets, cab doors, trim and paint touch-ups, set fireplace logs, install house numbers, minor drywall repairs, etc.Call in one-call locates, fix and clean-up broken water meter boxes, pick up and deliver materials with company vehicle, etc. as needed

Build and install cabinets as needed

Clean and prep job sites as needed

Track, document, and coordinate warranty requests with office staff and complete repairs as needed

Study civil plans to grasp understanding of horizontal development processes including but not limited to grading and utilities

Once a thorough understanding of civil plans is achieved, perform quality assurance reviews/cross-check of civil plans with onsite items assessing key factors like the locations of water meter boxes and fire hydrants, verifying t-posts mark the meter boxes and sewer stub outs, evaluation of general and overall site layout, etc.Adhere to all health and safety standards and ensure subcontractors, laborers, etc. comply to industry health and safety standards as required by law and report any issues to executive leadership
Qualifications
A successful Construction Superintendent & Field Specialist must possess the ability to perform the essential duties of this job and should have the following skills:

Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
Preferred Qualifications
Proficient with office and database software
Bachelor’s degree in system management, civil engineering, or construction management, preferred. Experience may be substituted for education.

Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to multitask. Must maintain confidentiality. The noise level is normally moderate but may be loud when visiting active job sites.
